About WCS 

Established in 1956, the West Chicago Sharks have served area swimmers by teaching competitive swimming skills and preparing for competition.  Members on our team range in ability from beginning swimmers to nationally-ranked elite athletes.  We have a place on our team for all swimming levels.

The Sharks belong to several organizations to find appropriate competition for each of our swimmers.  Some of our affiliations are;

USA Swimming
Illinois Swimming, Inc.
Chicagoland Area Summer Swim League (Summer Conference)
Chicagoland Swim Conference (Winter Conference)

We are located at West Chicago Community High School in West Chicago, Illinois (in the far west suburbs about 35 miles west of Chicago).
